Christ Church Award to Lifetime Wells
Christ Episcopal Church in Denton, MD recently presented Lifetime Wells International with a check for $1415. Christ Church raised the money during their annual Summerfest FUNdraiser,
which raffles off a bushel of steamed crabs and steamed shrimp generously supported by Blough’s Seafood.
Senior Warden Tracy Berrigan states “Each year Christ Church chooses a different non-profit organization in our community to support. We believe strongly in outreach. Even though we run a deficit budget each year, we follow the teachings of Jesus Christ to reach out to those in need. We are so happy to have Lifetime Wells International as our fundraiser recipient this year. The work they do in Africa to bring clean water to communities and, more recently
ophthalmology care, is so very important and it aligns with our mission statement.”
